ITP’s US construction team recently supported one of our long-standing mechanical contracting clients in appointing a Safety Director.

The client had been trying to fill the role for more than three months through internal recruitment and their own networks but had struggled to find a candidate who met all their requirements. Within two weeks of receiving the brief, ITP had identified and presented four suitable candidates. All four candidates presented were interviewed, three progressed to final stages, and ultimately one candidate was offered and successfully accepted the position.

Throughout the process, ITP worked closely with both the client and candidate to ensure clear and consistent communication at every stage. This included coordinating interviews, providing prompt feedback and managing expectations around compensation, helping to keep both parties aligned throughout the recruitment process.

Following the offer, ITP continued to support both sides through the negotiation process, helping to agree a package that met the candidate’s expectations while remaining within the client’s budget. The successful appointment enabled the client to secure a key senior leader who could support their ongoing growth, while demonstrating ITP’s ability to deliver against challenging and time-sensitive recruitment briefs.

The successful appointment provided the client with a key senior hire to support their continued growth and expansion.
